New Ski Terrain, State of the Association, Activity Calendar (Jan 6-13)
TOMORROW – Lifts 8 & 9 open
TSG has announced that ski lifts 8 & 9 will open for the season tomorrow (Jan 6), along with Lookout (top-to-bottom from See Forever to Lift 9) and ski access to Oak Street (via Telluride trail to Lookout to Bail Out to Telluride Trail). Current snow & trail update.
SUMMARY: TMVOA Annual Members meeting
The Annual Members meeting was held last week (12/27).
Election Results - Jim Royer was elected to the Residential seat to serve another two-year term (he received 71.8% of votes cast). The Lodging seat is currently vacant, resulting from no candidate submissions and the recent departure of Duncan Hogarth. The board expressed their appreciation for Duncan’s dedicated service over the past two years. To fill this open seat, the board plans to make an appointment within the next few months.
Other Board Changes - Tom Richards was appointed to the board by the Mountain Special Members (TSG). Tom has been with TSG for 17-years and has served as their CFO for the last 6-years. Tom replaces Robert Stenhammer, who served as a Mountain Special Member since Dec 2015. The board and staff expressed their appreciation for Robert’s dedicated service. Lastly, the board elected to maintain Bill Jensen as Chairman, Jim Royer as Vice-Chairman, and Jeff Badger as Secretary & Treasurer.
